About The Artist

Keri K. Gould          Textual Photography and Wearable Fiber Art

A photograph’s power resonates from the subjective truths an individual concedes to that visual image captured in the continuum of form, time and space. My images emphasize the physical and emotional rhythms and patterns of life by visually commenting through texture, color and the play of light – giving viewers an opportunity to consider the framing of our visual viewpoints and emotional perspectives.

In addition to photography, I create wearable fiber art- crochet and knitted freeform pieces ranging from scarves to sweaters, baby blankets, fingerless gloves, shawls, cowls and more!

My artistic sensibilities are on overdrive when I create my handmade knit and crocheted thneeds. I love creating wearable art where the balancing of color, design, and the weight and texture of the wool or other natural fibers enables others to "get" the sensuousness of the finished piece.

I am a photographer and fiber artist living and working in the Hudson Valley, NY. I am also a practicing attorney and law school professor who spends much of her time training with her horse Layla in dressage, pursuing a rigorous yoga practice and gardening.
